In order to get a Blue Flag, and be a certified Blue Flag Flag beach, the beaches must meet 27 criteria.

The criteria are categorized under water quality, environmental education, environmental management, and safety and services.

In order to achieve Blue Flag Status, a beach must meet all criteria in a Summer season.

A Blue Flag is an International Symbol of Excellence.

Help keep our beaches clean,

so we can keep flying the Blue Flags.

- Respect the beach
- Pick up your garbage
- Pick up after your pet
- Take food leftovers home, as they can affect water quality
- If you brought it with you, take it back with you.
Don't leave anything behind at the beach that may get into the water.

Enjoy your Summer.
